Wed Apr 29, 2009 1:01 pm

hi folks

...I know we have quite a wide audience on the forum, so I thought it worth posting this message from the Yahoo animal rehoming group just in case anyone in the area can help (I assume it is genuine)

[Animal_Rehoming_UK] STOLEN WHITE TRANSIT VAN WITH DOGS - Bierley, Nr. Bradford, West Yorks

HELP NEEDED - Please see below

Many of you might know Angela Briggs who usually attends Heelwork to Music shows.

Last night Angela's van was stolen from the community centre, Bierley, Nr Bradford, West Yorks where they were holding a training session - both Drift and Chester were still in the van.

Van is White Vauxhall Vivaro Reg letter "PAW"

As yet there is no word of either the van or, more importantly, the dogs.
Drift is a short coated red and white Collie, Chester is an old dog, black with lots of grey hairs on the muzzle and chest.

If you live in the area please keep your eyes open for the two of them, obviously don't know if they are still with the van or have been dumped out of it somewhere.

Angela has been in contact with all local rescue agencies, vets, radio etc but as yet nothing

I can't imagine how she must be feeling, I'm devastated and they aren't mine.

Photos of Drift and Chester in the Photos file.

You have permission to cross post to as many people and lists as you can.

Thanks

Received this last night......
===============================================

Fantastic news. Angela has got her 2 dogs back. Someone on a nearby estate rang
about 4-ish this afternoon to tell her they'd been found wandering. Someone had removed their collars and tags. The woman took them in and rang the number she'd seen on a poster.
Angela is in 7th heaven. Dogs were thirsty and hungry but are safe, well and happy.

YIPPEEEEEEE

Angela sends a massive THANK YOU to everyone who got involved in helping her to find her dogs.
