Well, first day home. She's understandably objecting to the crate but she is learning. She's already starting to respond to her name, 'no' and 'drop'. Toilet training is so-so but we're getting there. She's beginning to understand that if we take her outside, into the cold, she can get back indoors by peeing. This has to be a good start.
She's definitely bonded well with both of us, the girls got home this morning and dutifully ignored her for a bit. She's a little unsure of them but had a cuddle with the youngest for a few minutes. Echo is definitely hiding behind me when she's scared or intimidated. This was put to the test when she accidentally set off the Roomba (robot hoover) a few times and it chased her around the living room. She's even accepting that, though, so we've definitely got a Good One.
Yay for puppies!
Oh yes, I promised photos...
Echo asleep in her crate:
Wanting to come in from the cold, nasty Stuart making her go to the toilet outside!
Echo staying close to me, outside is still just a little scary at the moment.
