Hi All,

Its Louisa (auntielou!!) here, Svens wife(for my sins!!), I have finally registered onto the forum, hooooray!

Kris Glover (a very good friend and pet behaviourist I know) is currently looking after a dog for 10 days and in that time try and get it a home as the owners wanted the dog put down because it jumped up(yes i know!!) and was just just showing typical collie traits in a dog who is both mentally AND physically under stimulated! He bascially is just a gorgeous collie who needed 'a job', the poor boy was redundant and bored!!

Here is a write up that Kris has done on him. She has already told me the amazing change she has seen in him in just 2 days!

"Hello my name is Hector and I am a 1 year old neutered male Border Collie (of sorts). I am micro chipped and fully vaccinated.
I am great with dogs and would be very happy if I could share a home with other dogs. :P
I like all people too, although am a bit worried about my collar being touched although am fine about having it touched if treats are involved. [tongue2]
I am a bit worried by traffic so would need some help with getting over this fear both inside and outside of the car. [ohmy]
I have lots of energy so will need good walks and also some assistance in understanding the recall command. [unsure]
I just love playing ball (as you can see from my photo) and would play all day given the chance. [tongue2]
I can be left at home alone but don’t like to be left for too long as I get bored quite quickly. [tongue]
I would make a good agility / ‘search and rescue’ / flyball dog and have lots to offer if someone would just give me a chance to show how good I am." [sad]

Come on guys lets get this lovely boy a home ey?!

Kris said he fine with people in general, and presumes so far same applies with children as long as they are gentle with him x
