Search Dog Forum

I have only been training Search Dogs for 6 years, maybe not as long as some, but more than others.

I had to learn the hard way, from reading books and trail and error. I found it particularly difficult to get help and advice. Many doors were closed to me as I was not a member of a specific organisation as well as information being pretty sparse.

I have been running a forum for my unit which has worked really well. Our forum has aloud us to communicate and improve our training amongst many things.

I hope that this forum too can help other like minded people, no matter which country you live in, which breed you train or which discipline you train in.

Please pass on the link and get more of your Search Dog colleagues on here to share their knowledge.

If you would like to become a moderator, create a user-group for your organisation, or have a private area that only your members can see please ask.

Hi Daryl,

I would also like to Thank you for setting this forum up. We often find in Cheshire, as we are so far North of all ALSAR Teams, that we are very much alone and perhaps we don't have the support network that southern teams have. This forum up to now has allowed me to gain soooooooo much knowledge and the chance to share on other areas such as Human Tissue Act, CATAC Harnesses. I don't intend going anywhere soon [smile]

I'm sure Joe and Radar, both Cheshire LSART would agree when I say

THANK YOU [biggrin]
