Search Prevention Education

Does your unit have a system to educate people about what to do if you get lost?

In the states (and some teams in the UK) teach the Hug a Tree scheme (story here: http://www.westyellowstonenews.com/news/article_3b613ac8-f4ad-11df-954a-001cc4c03286.html) to young children. We have a similar programme developed by DORSAR Get Found that we use for young children.

But what do you teach people?
