Another one bites the dust!

I know some of you are aware of my impending house move. For those of you who have not heard, I am moving house up to a village in Wensleydale, North Yorks called Patrick Brompton hopefully before Christmas. Next Tuesday will therefore be my last activity with the team and I will be turning in my equipment. I hope I shall not be severing my ties with then team completely and will be following your adventures. For my part I am hoping to join Swaledale MRT and continue Murphy's training under SARDA rules. I shall greatly miss my Berkshire SAR Dogs activities - it does have a way of taking over your life. Something I had not envisaged when I joined. I shall also be leaving as an unchallenged holder of the Platinum Poop-a Scoop Award. I shall have to remove it from it's place of honour and polish it before Tuesday
Many thanks to those people who have given time and effort to organise and assist with training and thanks to all for the friendship and encouragement over the last year. I hope I have been able to contribute something to the team capability.
It goes without saying that if any Berkshire SAR Dogs members or any other Lowland SAR people who know me ever fancy a few days on a lovely Dales farm just email me to arrange.
Good luck to all those undergoing assessments in December and March. I know the team will go from strength to strength under the new committee.
