Search and rescue dogs lancashire??

Hi could anyone tell me if there is a lowland search and rescue dog group in Lancashire or if there are any plans to set one up? Or is there anything similar in this area?

I am very interested in dog training and would love to get involved in training a dog in search and rescue. Does anyone have any advice to help me get started. I have made enquiries with my local mrt bowland-pennine and am starting training one of my dogs in working trials. Are all the sar dog handlers attached to mrt s or is it something different all together? As in do you have to first join an mrt and do several years an then apply to be a sar handler? Interested in how it all works.
