An area to discuss kit and equipment related to K9 SAR

I'm not one for Military Supplies within SAR, however they do have a place at times, but I came across an advert in Trail last month and I think they could be quite useful.
Can't remember the last time I didn't go on a search and either use a glow stick or lend one to some one - maybe this is the way forward.
http://www.military247.co.uk/inc/sdetail/658It's called Krill Light and they are battery powered and not filled with chemicals. 20.99 is the advertised price.
Just thought it may be a money saver and one less thing to buy everytime you walk into an outdoor shop

mojo,
i have used a krill light for a while, good bit of kit BUT they are a bit weighty compared to a snap stick, it you use them on your dogs harness / jacket they tend to fall off the ridge of the dogs back.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the up-date, we have been wondering what the total weight was and if there was much difference. But now we know

get to know your local fire brigade they carry them for marking hazards at night, the ones in manchester dont mind donating some to a good cause, cant get cheaper than that.
