Hi Guys,

Not quite sure why anyone would actually need to abseil with their dog but for helicopter winching we use the harness manufactured by Lyon in Cumbria (see http://www.abacus-ise.co.uk/shop/rescue ... -c-83.html); they are made to order cost about £55 (loads less that the FRS ones) and are load tested/type approved for use with RAF/RN aircraft.

Troll no-longer exist and to be nonest their harnesses were a bit fiddly; SARDA Scotland still use them as workng harnesses.

Cheers,

Rich

Pete, due to my catastrophic IT meltdown befire xmas, I have lost a load of email addresses for out men on the inside of all of the suppliers we have relationships with. Ill get digging and get back in touch with Catac and see if we cant get Paul to being one down to training one night. The last I heard from them, they had a prototype of a lit harness that they wanted us to test. So Ill let you know.#
