Mine was a dark blue Austin Metro which I had to paint underseal all over the bottom because of the holes [laugh]

It used to freeze on the inside more than the outside [tongue2]

But it was my pride and joy as I paid for it all myself !!!! [biggrin] [biggrin] [biggrin]

I used to have a Talbot Samba - that little car that was less than 1ltr used to take me all over the UK, usually with three of us in it lots of kit and three Kayaks on the roof!!

Fantastic little car!

Austin Maestro 1296cc 1985 in bright red.

Unreliable as hell but easy to work on except for the automatic choke and early electronic management system.

The engine was solid but it just rusted away.
