Those who knew Phil (former SARDA England handler, disaster search dog handler) will be saddened to hear that he died suddenly yesterday, thought to be as a result of a heart attack.

A get-together in Bernie’s Café in Ingleton is planned for next Saturday morning, according to Phil’s son.

I was with Phil two weeks ago on a SAR Managers course and he was as usual on good form. I am sure that the SAR community's thoughts are with his family at this time
