William Andrew has been missing since Monday

POLICE are appealing for information to trace a missing man who is believed to be suicidal.

William Andrew, 58, went missing from an address in Penge yesterday (November 8).

He is described as white, about 5' 10" tall with a large build and grey hair. He was wearing a blue fleece, grey casual trousers and white trainers when last seen.

Mr Andrew likes open spaces and is known to frequent Anerley Library, Kelsey Park, Betts Park, Keston Ponds and Beckenham Crematorium.

A police spokesman said: “There are real concerns for William's safety, as he suffers from depression and is believed to be suicidal.

“If seen, William should not be approached, but Police should be contacted immediately on 999.”

The Lowland Search Dogs, a national volunteer search dog organisation, are currently assisting police with the search for Mr Andrew.
