EMERGENCY crews and sniffer dogs are undertaking a major land and air search to find a missing man from Pwllheli.
The force helicopter was scrambled this morning and members of the Search And Rescue Dog Association and mountain rescue teams were deployed to search for 54-year-old Emlyn Davies who has not been seen since yesterday.
Mr Davies from Pencaenewydd was last seen leaving his home address at 8am.
He is described as 5ft 8 inches tall and of slim build.
He has short brown hair and facial stubble and was last seen wearing blue jeans a brown fleece top and a black jacket. He was also wearing black shoes.
A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: "Searches are currently underway involving police officers, SARDA and the Mountain Rescue Team.
"The force helicopter has also been utilised to search the area."
