Solo training exercises

Hi all,
Way down under here in little old godzone, search dog handlers are few and far between. There are only two main training groups in the North Island and the closest of the two is 4 hours drive away.
There are a couple of handlers locally but two are trackers and the other one is flogging a dead horse and has the timing of a $20 Aisian Rolex. Three of us all work shifts making it hard to get together for training.
My question is... yes I do have a point to this... does any one know of any training areas that can be done without a physical subject.
We have been working on drive etc which is easily done without a second person but that is only good for so long.
Im figuring the answer is no but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Cheers
KC
