Lowland Search Research Group

I've managed to get together a group of lowland search team members (both foot and dog searchers) who are all interested in furthering research into lowland search.

With as little research as there is in the field there are plenty of topics/projects we can do, however I'd be interested to know whether anyone on here has any thoughts.

One project that we are looking into is possibly a study into the differences in expectations of search managers and dog handlers, and whether any differences could be the cause of any discordance in relationships between the two.

Another could look into whether training actually matches what we do - how do we find mispers? position? state? etc. and do we train accordingly.

As I said, any other suggestions/thoughts would be very gratefully received.
