Displays...

Postby braghtymali » Thu Apr 03, 2008 1:40 pm

I am looking for any advice from anybody who has experienced putting on a display with their search dogs at any type of fundraising event.

South Wales Lowland search and rescue unit are looking to raise funds by attending some local agriculture shows. As well as having a stall, we are looking for ideas to provide some sort of dispaly to run along side it...

All ideas welcome. [ohmy]

We have done loads of shows etc!

How about comming down to see one of our shows to see what we do?

Have a look at our website http://www.k9-sar.com for a list of the shows that we are doing.

Our first show is on Monday 5 May at Brooklands Museum in West Byfleet. You may find the Highclere Country Show in Newbury more accessible for you though, this takes place on Sunday 25 & Monday 26 May. If you intend to come down to the show let myself or Daryl know and we can arrange to meet you. At yet we don't have timings of our displays but once I have them I will let you know if you are coming.

If you would like to come to any I would recommend the Highclere Game Fair:

We usually do 2 displays a day and camp over night, there is lots to do there and many other displays to see.
