Hi My name is Ryan and I am hoping to be getting into training a Search and Rescue dog here very shortly. I am hoping to learn a lot from this forum. I was wondering how active this forum is as I am not seeing much posting since the middle of 2014. Either way I am glad to be here and will try to learn as much as possible. Thank you.

Hi Ryan, welcome to our forum, where are you based? We cover the South East of the UK mainly. We are a very active team, but the forum doesn't get as much use as it used too! There is huge amount of excellent infrmation in here, so feel free to spend months reading through everything and just ask if there is something we can help you with! Jon

Hey Ryan Welcome
Why not tell us a bit more about your self and your Dog. (photos are always good)

be warned
There is always a bit of friendly banter going on between the herding and gun dogs. At the end of the day we all think our own dog is the best.
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else

Hi Ryan - welcome! Yes, as Roland suggested, tell us a bit about you and your dog, and where you are based.

You are right, the Public forum has not been particularly busy for a while, but there is a private section for the Berkshire Team, which is very active (used daily), so there are lots of people constantly accessing the Forum as a whole. I'm sure if you post any queries etc, you will get responses quite quickly.
