Search & Rescue Dogs

Hi all,
As you probably guessed from my online nom de plume I am a Police officer.

I am based in Taupo, New Zealand but am training an air scenting dog as a civilian.
My dog 'Bronx' is a 13 month old 'mongrel', for want of a better term, and we are about 3 months in to training proper.

I hope to gather titbits of information here to aid in our training.

So I look forward to talking to you all.

I find it ironic that once upon a time the colonies were only good for sending prisoners to, now you are fighting to come here.
