Woof woof! (Dog for 'Hi there!')

Well, we've been coming along to training now for 5 weeks and it's about time I introduced us here!

My name is Tim and my wife is Catriona (But since there is already a Katrina (which is pronounced the same) it's easier to call her Treen!)
We have a gorgeous ten month old border collie who is called Oakley.

We've been obedience training Oakley since we got him as a puppy which has turned him into a fantastically behaved dog, but now that we have started the S&R training with him it has already made a huge difference to him by giving him a purpose. And of course it helps that he absolutely loves doing it!

And just to prove that he is an excellent search dog, here is Oakley going beyond the call of duty to find a particular stone on the bottom of a pond!

Just as a bit of a background about me & Treen.
We've been happily married now for just over 6 months and have lived near Godalming in Surrey for the past 3 years with Oakley (obvioulsy!) and 3 cats - Zebedee, Kaleb & Kiki.
I work in IT for a health organisation, however I'm also a Police Special constable for Surrey Police which will hopefully complement the training that we are doing with Oakley. In my spare time (If I have any left!) I also do a lot of Mountain biking, treking and Kite surfing (which surprise surprise Oakley loves as well!)
Treen works for a housing association and is an absolute animal lover! She takes great pride in looking after our furry family and training Oakley is one of her proudest accomplishments (and training me as well!). She also is a keen dancer (think 'Strictly Come Dancing' style) and attends classes every week. If you ask nicely she might just give you a twirl!! She also loves to come out walking with Oakley be in in the hills of Surrey or down at the beach.

Well, that's us, so we look forward to meeting more of you when it's not pitch black in a dark wood!!
