Dog Bells

Postby Trackerdog » Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:17 pm

I am seeking your help and assistance again.

Which is the best type of dog bell to use and why?

I have researched so many web sites on dog bells I am now becoming confused as to which is the best bell to use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael, I look after all the Berkshire SAR Dogs kit.

We recommend using falconry bells. The ones that tend to be the most popular are "Lahore Mediums" they are around £6 a pair over here. These seem to be robust, loud enough and not too big. You can spend as much as you like on some of the falconry bells as yoyu can get matched pairs in defferent tones. But the Lahores have always seemd to be fine. We use a company over here called Westweald falconry, but im sure you'll be able to get them over there.

Hope this has been of some help
