Hi Daryl

I've been given the Scout's programme called 'Re-Pace, Re-Trace' it's for around 11-16yr olds who have some navigational abilities. It's basically re-pacing 20 paces from where they came from, try and do a bearing if that doesn't work, they take another 20 paces until they re-trace their steps.

It's good as long as Navigational Skills are more than reading 6figure grid ref's. They must be able to do bearings and back-bearings with some confidence.

If you want it I'll send it, but you may benefit from teaching a samll group nav skills then develop from there????

Anyway it was an idea

Is any of this useful to anyone by the way???

If so, send me an email/PM and I'll email all the children/youth engagement programmes we currently have.

As you may have gathered a subject close to my heart [blush]

Cheers
