Great news and interesting as I'm also insured with Direct Line.
Did you do the Sainsbury insurance online or did you have to call them?

Interesting you say pet plan wont and won't even look into it as all four of mine are insured with pet plan and all have it written into their policy that they are covered whilst undertaking search and rescue activities.

Philip - I did the quote online but phoned them to find out if they covered them with sar. I'd suggest take the policy out online and then phone them when u get ur docs n tell em bout the sar.

Lou - maybe worth checking as they may hav changed something? To be honest I think the guy I got was completely useless anyway... And rude and unhelpful - as I said he wuldnt go and check for me...

Poll, the dogs are not ccovered for public liability for any form of aggresion towards people, damage to crops or death of livestock even if no aggression is shown.

I am still waiting for clarification on this.

I have been insured with them since i got Sakari they have all her details of being a search dog they pay out very quickly with no fuss or bother, they don`t ask if the injury etc occured whilst doing any kind of SAR work wouldn`t go anywhwere else

Check this for insurance. They cover SAR work on there website. will call tomorrow

Have called Cliverton today and they are sending all the info through the post.

One interesting point is that they cover SAR teams and have a few on there books
