brief introduction for my self,
dogs seem to be a bit of a familly trait, my dad started me off on sheepdogs as a kid, he competed at sheepdog trials throughout the country, sad but true he is the presenter of tv's "one man and his dog".
joined the army in 1985 and spent the next 10 years as a dog trainer in the Royal army veterinary corps working in UK,Germany, central america and Northern Ireland, i mainly did search work bombs drugs etc and some other strange jobs with dogs.
joined the police in 95 and in 2002 joined the dog section with a general purpose dog, i also then started with a second dog which was a cadaver/body dog, very very interesting work.
i have just had to come of dogs, they moved and changed the shift pattern which made it impossible for me and the familly to do.
work alot with the fire service dogs and help out with our local SARDA dogs.
i have kept my body dog as a "pet" but still keep her nose in, you never know what might happen.
loads more i could put down but they are the basics of it so far.
