I thought that I would start this one off to get people going.

My name is Daryl Toogood - my main background is teaching Outdoor Activities, Canoeing, Kayaking, Climbing, Hill Walking, Sailing, Orienteering etc. But now work as an Ambulance Technician (Student Paramedic) for South Central Ambulance Service.

I am one of the founding members of both Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs and our umbrella body Lowland Search Dogs which both started in 2002.

My experience goes back further than that - I started my Search & Rescue experience with the International Rescue Corps where I was a technical expert and deputy training officer for a few years before I moved away from the area. I then joined SEBEV Search & Rescue, a Lowland Search & Rescue team based in Berkshire.

I have a Border Collie who is called Guinness, he is 9yrs old and is qualified at the highest level that is available to Lowland Search Dogs in the UK.

There is more that I could say, but I am bored of my own typing! [tongue2]
