Hello

Just been to my first session with the local lowland search and rescue team, and am hoping to start training my dog up soon. He's a rescued cocker called Henry:

I'm in Norfolk. We'll have to see how Henry makes out, he is also a trainee gundog (I like to keep him busy [biggrin] ) but I (and my trainer) reckon he's clever enough to distinguish between the two jobs so long as there are clear signals for him - for ex, through using a harness or similar for search and rescue work, and a slip lead and no collar for gundog work, and the differences in my clothing, commands etc.

A big welcome and lets show all them collie owners that spaniels are better [tongue]
