Zab and Kini

Hi folks!
as you may have heard I am leaving (very sadly and reluctantly) Berks for Bucks and Chilterns, just geographically it makes sense? I have so enjoyed my first experience in the SAR world with all of you and I thought you might enjoy my last wink on the forum: My little Kini's DNA results:
Ok folks! Kini's DNA results!!!!!!
1 Parent Border Collie mix
1 Parent Rottie / Clumber Spaniel Mix
The rest:
7.63% beagle
6.62% Pembroke Welsh Corgi
6.40% Lancashire heeler
5.89% Chihuahua;0)))))))))))))
4.20% Dachshund;0)))))))))))))))))
So if I get it right 25% Rottie 25% Clumber spaniel = 1 parent I guess daddy
19.26% border collie and all the rest that must have been Mum!!!!
But with mostly Rottie/spaniel/border collie I must have the best potential Search and rescue dog?
Sorry for the Lab brigade;-))) I am a stounch supporter of the cross breed....
See you all very soon on call-outs! I can't wait!
Hopefully I will see you all before I go to the "other" side
Love you all!
Zab
Sorry had to edit bad spelling from last night... BTW I am still laughing;-)))))

WOW she's even more of a mixer than Scrumpy!!!!! I thought he was impressive as a Collie/Spaniel/Whippet (that we now think is Italian Greyhound)

So sorry to hear you are leaving but fully understand the reasons. [sad] This economical climate has a lot to answer for!!! [mad]

I am sure I won't be alone in wishing you guys all the best from Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs and look forward to seeing you out on a callout!!! And hearing how Kini is getting on. [laugh] [laugh]

Hi Zab, so sorry to see you and your lovely hounds go, but like Niki, totally understand the reasons.

I'm really struggling to see the Clumber Spaniel in Kini, Rottie and Collie, definitely but Clumber Spaniel?!!!! Bless her, she is a little mixed up isn't she.

Look forward to seeing you on callouts and at assessments.

Good luck to you and the doglets

What a way to bow out (or should that be bow-wow out!?) (sorry!).
That sounds like a fascinating piece of DNA research!! I bet there aren't that many 'mutts' that can boast so many strands... but probably explains why you could see something different in her each time you see her!? My sister has 2 obscure crossbreeds in USA - a cocker spaniel x chihuahua (a cockerhuahua!) and a mixed up something rescued from the Bahamas - looks a lot like Kini - probaby rottie/whippet, or something! I'll tell her what you found as I had mentioned Kini to her - perhaps she might be tempted to investigate further also...
Anyway, goodbye and good luck - hope 'the other side' is all you want it to be! See you at a callout sometime.
