3 Dogs or 2 Dogs and 1 Bitch?

Postby Daryl » Wed Oct 22, 2008 3:33 pm

I currently have 2 dogs in our house and we are looking to get another as the oldest is due to retire.

I have always prefered Males over Females, however I am wondering which gender would be better to get as our pack gets bigger......?

Any thoughts?

Get a bitch.

No real reason I just like them and they are easier to please, no pi#sing on every tree on a search as well.

Good logic.

Plus no 'dangly bits' to have removed later, causing the whole male population of the team to wince in sympathy.

Just the female bits that need removing which makes every female wince either that or that age old problem of "the female can't work for x days each x months!!!"

If you ever thought your dog can't count, try putting 3 dog biscuits in your pocket and only giving him 2!!!

Bitch i have had a dog but do prefer bitches they tend to be more loyal and don`t rearly argue with each other unless you have JTR`S, no rearly before i had Sakari i had a bitch GSD who also had a great temperment, bitches tend to want to stay closer to you. Once spayed problems are solved they also tend to be cleaner.

I have found Guinness to be very loyal, and I don't really want a dog that sticks near to me, I want one that will range away from me.

it would depend entirely on the dynamics within the home already with regards to whether you should get a dog or a bitch [cool] [ninja]
