Original Mountain Marathon

Looks like the Lake District MRT and SARDA teams had a busy night.

Out of 2,500 competitors, only 13 required hospital treatment and no fatalities. Looks like the know-nothings are jumping up and down over it. [rolleyes]

Hiya

yep - loads of fun.....best moment came when two bedraggled blokes came out of the gales and wind towards me on Honister to let me know that they'd decided to retire and did I think they were being daft! Just spent most of the time trying to persuade people to go back down to the Buttermere side and kip in the barn instead of trying to get to their cars.
